A Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that aligns with the creative vision, brand identity, and project goals. This involves editing video footage, synchronizing audio, adding graphics, special effects, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards and deadlines. Video Editors work closely with producers, directors, and creative teams to deliver engaging visual content for platforms such as TV, film, social media, and digital marketing.

• Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos.

• Trim, cut, and sequence video clips to create compelling narratives.

• Add sound effects, music, voiceovers, and adjust audio levels.

• Insert graphics, subtitles, animations, and transitions.

• Ensure consistency in branding, style, and tone.

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and content creators to meet creative objectives.

• Review and implement feedback from stakeholders.

• Maintain an organized file structure and media library.

• Stay updated with editing techniques, trends, and software tools.

• Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications and deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related field (preferred, but not always required).

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating editing skills and creativity.

• Knowledge of media formats, codecs, and export settings.

• Understanding of different content platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, broadcast, etc.).

• Flexibility to adapt to new editing styles and client needs.
