Key Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor and manage warehousing operations.

• Ensure warehouses are operating at optimal efficiency by planning, organizing, leading and training the warehouse team.

• Plan efficient warehousing operations through product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization and inventory management.

• Ensure SAP and Warehouse Management Systems run effectively to maintain accuracy and drive productivity.

• Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including timely receiving and outbound, inventory control, space management, quality control, site security and customer service.

• Manage stock movements while ensuring integrity of inventory accuracy.

• Oversee warehouse workflow to ensure productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.

• Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals. 

• Coordinate with 3rd Party Logistics, external warehouses and transportation partners engaged by the client.

• Train and develop warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and to achieve performance goals.

• Maintain a safe work environment by establishing and enforcing Environmental and Health and Safety standards and procedures compliant to legislation.

• Ensure effective waste and return management is maintained.

• Establish and monitor Warehousing operations SOPs.

• Track KPI performance and implement Continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and put preventive controls in place.

• Keep track of slow moving and obsolete inventory.

• Manage outsourced labour loading and unloading activities.

• Responsible for handling future projects including new warehouse construction and setup .

• Skills and Qualifications

1. A university degree holder from a recognized university (with a certification in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management preferred).
2. Minimum 3 year experience as a warehouse/logistics manager role in 3PL Logistics or FMCG industry.

3. Proficient knowledge of warehouse management procedures and policies.

4. Detailed oriented, excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.

   Proficiency with SAP and WMS systems.

5. Willing to work in Industrial Zones in Yangon and travel within Myanmar as and when necessary.

6. Experience in warehouse construction and renovation projects and facility management a plus.
