The Head of HR will lead and manage all aspects of Human Resources for Otsuka Myanmar, ensuring alignment with company strategy and values. The role requires a strong business partner mindset, expertise in HR strategy, and the ability to manage organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement in a multinational FMCG environment.

Key Purpose:

  • To develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices that support business objectives.
  • To foster a high performing, engaged, and compliant workforce.
  • To lead the HR team and ensure effective delivery of HR services across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Otsuka Myanmar’s business objectives and corporate culture.
  • Advise and partner with senior management on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen company culture, engagement, and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding of key talent across the organization.
  • Design and implement performance management systems, including KPIs, appraisals, and career development plans.
  • Identify training needs and implement learning & development programs to build organizational capabilities.
  • Ensure competitive and fair compensation, benefits, and reward programs in line with international standards.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to retain top talent and maintain competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws, internal policies, and global HR standards.
  • Handle employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, and grievance resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture that encourages collaboration, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Oversee HR processes, systems, and reporting to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide regular HR metrics and insights to management to support strategic decisions.
  • Lead digital HR initiatives, including HRIS implementation and process automation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability within the HR function.

  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and international HR best practices.
