  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  2. Forecast purchasing needs based on sales projections and operational requirements.
  3. Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supplier performanc.
  4. Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers locally and internationally.
  5. Lead price negotiations, contract terms, and service agreements to achieve cost efficiency.
  6. Establish long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers.
  7. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits.
  8. Ensure procurement activities remain within approved budgets.
  9. Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering strategies.
  10. Analyze price trends and recommend purchasing strategies accordingly.
  11. Manage overseas purchasing processes including documentation and compliance.
  12. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics providers.
  13. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and trade policies.
  14. Establish and improve procurement policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
  15. Ensure transparency, compliance, and ethical procurement practices.
  16. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  17. Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations teams.
  18. Communicate procurement status, risks, and cost implications to management.
  19. Resolve supply-related issues promptly to minimize operational disruption.
  20. Lead and mentor procurement team members.
  21. Allocate tasks and monitor performance.
  22. Develop team capabilities in negotiation and supply chain management.

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Professional Diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Commerce, is an advantage.
  3. Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in a trading or distribution company.
  4. Proven experience in supplier negotiation, sourcing, and cost control.
  5. Experience with import/export procurement is an added advantage.
  6. Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
  7. Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
  8. Analytical skills with ability to interpret market and price trends.
  9. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  10. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
