ROLE PURPOSE

Treasury department is looking for an Officer in ALM, who will be reporting to the Deputy Head of Treasury to execute Fixed Income and Money Market trades for the Bank.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Invest assets according to the bank’s guidelines to deliver competitive rate of return within the given level of risk.

* Monitor the ALM desk trading activities.

* Maintain professional relationship with clients and provide timely resolution.

* Assist in preparation of reports related to ALM for Treasury.

* Prepare and publish weekly competitive interest rate sheet and make approved changes.

* Plan, develop and implement to meet the budgeted P&L of the year for new products and investment portfolio.

Knowledge & Skills

Essential
• Presentational skills to both internal and external clients
• Numerate with the ability to identify financial issues
• Influencing skills

Education & Special Training* Influencing skills

Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or related areas
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Power Point

Experience

Essential
• Proven experience in the local or foreign banking sector
• Basic knowledge of Fixed Income and Money Market products
such as Treasury Bonds and Bills

Languages

Essential
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral in Myanmar and English
