• Assist Head of Communication Manager to manage all internal and external communication of the company via high-level messages that position the company and its initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist Head of Communication Manager to prepare high-level annual plans, supported by detailed monthly communication plans with senior management input and approval
• Ensure consistent and effective communications of business philosophies, values and key management directions within all levels of the company, working with all internal relevant teams
• Create different types of messages (corporate, financial, people, and community) and communication channels (email, internal social media, external social media, mass media, field visits/workshops, etc)
• Explore the possibility of engaging external partners/agencies to drive communications in line with company messaging
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Communication Manager

Job Requirements

• Ability to travel
• Degree in Business Communications, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, literature or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in journalism or managing communications needs of multinational companies
• Able to write accurate communication pieces
• Photography/photo editing and videography/video editing skills preferred
• Proactive, mature and independent, able to think conceptually to achieve the intended effect
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communications skills in English and Myanmar
• Committed, results-oriented, and solid team player
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidential information with a high level of integrity
• Knowledge of local, regional and new (electronic and online) media, with a good relationship with key editors, producers, and writers
• Willing to learn about key issues facing/shaping the microfinance industry
• Able to plan, organize, work under pressure and tight deadline, in a fast-paced dynamic environment
