Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven PR and Marketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our study abroad services, with a focus on digital marketing, school visits, booth setup at shopping malls, flyer distribution, lead generation, telemarketing, and organizing events such as seminars, workshops, and fairs.

 

PR and Marketing Executive is responsible for managing the public image and reputation of an organization or individual. Their primary goal is to establish and maintain positive relationships between their organization and the public, including customers, clients, stakeholders, media outlets, and the general community. The key responsibilities are:

 

Media Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, and other media professionals to generate positive media coverage for the organization. This involves writing press releases, pitching stories to media outlets, and responding to media inquiries.

 

Publicity Campaigns: Planning and executing publicity campaigns to promote products, services, events, or initiatives. This may involve coordinating press conferences, media briefings, and other events to attract media attention and coverage.

 

Crisis Management: Developing strategies to handle and mitigate any negative publicity or crises that may arise. PR Officers are often tasked with managing communication during crises, addressing public concerns, and protecting the organization's reputation.

 

Content Creation: Writing and editing various types of content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, and website content. PR Officers ensure that all communications reflect the organization's brand voice and messaging.

 

Social Media Management: Managing the organization's presence on social media platforms, including creating content, engaging with followers, monitoring conversations, and responding to comments and messages. They use social media to build relationships with stakeholders and enhance the organization's reputation.

 

Event Management: Planning and coordinating events such as product launches, press conferences, sponsorships, and community engagement activities. PR Officers ensure that events are well-publicized and aligned with the organization's messaging and objectives.

 

Internal Communications: Keeping internal stakeholders informed about PR activities, media coverage, and important developments. This may involve writing internal newsletters, organizing staff briefings, and providing media training to key personnel.

 

Monitoring and Analysis: Monitoring media coverage and public sentiment about the organization using tools like media monitoring software and social media analytics. PR Officers analyze data to assess the effectiveness of PR campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, PR, event planning, or related roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Knowledge of the education industry and study abroad programs is a plus.
