OBJECTIVE/JOB PURPOSE (Including Job Description) • Team o Recruit, hire, train and oversee a team of automotive personnel o Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance o Conduct all regular sales meetings with sales team • Showroom o Oversee all activities occurring in the showroom • Sales o Set sales targets o Track progress o Lead team to achieve and exceed targets o Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters and compile necessary reports for management review o Plan and execute all sales promotions • Marketing o Plan and execute all marketing activities and events • Stock level o To maintain vehicle and spare parts stock at a desirable level • Dealer Network o To expand the Commercial Vehicle Brand Dealer Network o To ensure Dealers meet brand CI/BI standards • Product Development o To develop new products based on market demand • Market Intelligence o Perform market studies and its analysis o To be the market expert with knowledge of all key data indicators related to the automotive sector, competitors and economy • PDI, Aftersales including spare parts and services, CBU and CKD matters o Window person for PDI, Aftersales including spare parts, CBU and CKD matters o To liaise with involved parties such as customers, dealers, aftersales, PDI, production team and Manufacturer to improve existing products • Any other job as assigned by higher management
A) EDUCATION LEVEL Degree and above B) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE At least 5 years management experience in the Automotive industry C) PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure work environment Track record of exceeding previous sales quotas and goals Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing employees Keen attention to detail with a commitment to solving complex problems Outgoing and service-oriented attitude Willingness to work independently and as part of a team D) CAPABILITIES & SKILLS Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to higher management Solid sales competencies with knowledge of strategies and best practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of inventory control and management Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
