The head of Convenience Store will be responsible for the overall management of Convenience Stores operations, business planning, and growth.
They will be focusing on the rollout of pilot convenience stores in short-term, leading the development of the business plan and strategy in the medium term, and supporting the national expansion of stores in the long-term.
Strategy
• Develops the vision and strategy for the growth of business
• Manages and develops business plan and sets ambitious and achievable milestones
• Operations Management
• Oversees and monitors current store operations and analyses stores’ performance
• Sets and implements best practices across different operations to build the foundation of the organisation
• Manages and leads cross-functional teams to execute the launch of new convenience stores
• Manages and oversees the budget of the projects
Stakeholder management
• Represents the organization and aligns the business strategy with senior management and group strategy
• Builds and manages relationship with internal and external stakeholders throughout different phases of the organization

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the retail industry, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• MBA graduate preferred
• Familiar with managing and leading teams to develop, manage and launch new projects in emerging markets
• Entrepreneurial and driven to achieve desired outcomes
• Strong analytical acumen and ability to generate and evaluate analysis
• Good stakeholder / supplier management skills
• Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems
• Operational knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis
• Excellent written and oral skills, strong organizational communication skills
• Deep understanding / interest of digital tools/ technology and latest trends
