Leading the sales and customer relationship team, Head of Sales plays a vital role at METRO Wholesales Myanmar Ltd. The main responsibilities are to oversee the development and execution of sales strategy and plan, to ensure achievement of target market share level, customer acquisition targets, and customer satisfaction.
Detail responsibilities include:
-Propose and gain approval on Sales policies, standards and guidelines
-Propose and gain approval on Sales strategy and plan, and translate set targets into operational goals
-Oversee the development of sales and revenue planning, to ensure that the target revenue is achieved
-Determine and cascade sales target to team members
-Oversee and monitor the performance of sales team to achieve customer acquisition targets, sales and service targets
-Oversee the development of the business proposal, which includes product offerings, prices, terms and conditions, to clarify on expectations of the products being provided to customers
-Oversee and identify new customers and key accounts, as well as approach and manage relationship and engaged them in doing businesses with Metro
-Establish sales panel to track performance and revenue targets
-Ensure consistency of communication message delivered to customers, and ensure effectiveness of communication methods
-Understand customers’ needs, share feedbacks, and identify improvement plan to motivate customers to become active Metro buyers
-Develop action plan to provide guideline and instruction for team
-Supervise, monitor and control utilization of CAPEX and OPEX to ensure optimal corporate benefit and alignment with budget plan
-Identify required skills and competency, as well as provide coaching and motivate team members for career growth and development
-Envision future business, forecast and plan for expansion or changes that may effect the company
-Manage, monitor, and evaluate performance of subordinates to ensure achievement of department goal and target
-Ensure operational compliance with the company’s policies and regulatory requirements
-Engage in regular meetings/ updates with team members, collect feedback, encourage and promote team spirit
-Collaborate and support on other initiatives upon request
Job Requirements
* Bachelor Degree, MBA preferred
* Minimum 10-years relevant experience
* Must have experience of managing and motivating a large professional sales team
* A role model and a good leader to the team
* Able to work under pressure
* Excellent English communication
* Local and Repat only
* FMCG, Wholesale / Retail experience preferred
