• Develop and oversee the Company’s IT strategies, IT roadmap, plans and policies, and make recommendations to the management team on the IT investments and deployment.
• Ensure that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
• Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
• Liaise with HQ on new IT initiatives and create and manage project plans and budget for the development and deployment of all technological services.
• Act as a mentor to own team members and lead the team on the day-to-day basis to support the business and operational needs.

Job Requirements

• A degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Must have at least 8 to 10 years of IT experience and at least 4 years in a banking or microfinance environment.
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience as IT Manager leading a team of 4 or more people.
• Must have strong knowledge of core banking system as well as across latest technology trends and developments.
• Prior experience in managing full cycle of IT project delivery and/or management as well as budgeting and procurement processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be fluent in spoken and written English language.
• Possess initiative and high energy or drive as well as able to work independently.
