•Install, configure, administer and maintain a mixed of Windows Servers in Enterprise Architecture (including disaster recovery, high availability and load balancing)
• Routine testing and validation of disaster recovery, load balancing and high availability setups
• Test, evaluate and apply server patches and upgrade
• Manage logs and backups (full/incremental) and perform restore tasks
• Perform tasks related to risk management and security compliance including vulnerability scanning on Software, Servers, OS and Databases
• Work closely with the system/software vendors to install and support the latest software and hardware patches as determined by the vendor
• Work closely with members of the various IT teams to provide input for problem-solving and provide input to facilitate future growth of the business
• Provide root-cause analysis, contribute to knowledge base, and provide recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology
• Perform other technical duties as required
Job Requirements
• 3+ years administering and supporting a mixed Windows Server 2003/2008/2008r2/2012r2 environment, including server images, security hardening, server backups, replications, patches, application/database installs, and hardware maintenance.
• Experienced supporting and configuring Microsoft Windows 2008/2008R2/2012R2
• Expert knowledge of Windows servers, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, RAID
• Solid understanding of Windows Networking (DNS, DHCP) Windows Firewalls, routers, switches, network scanners, network printers and hardware problems as well. LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, SMTP, POP3, IPv4, IPv6
• Antivirus (Symantec, PC Tools, etc.)
• Key traits: security oriented, critical thinker, problem solver, effective communicator, ability to work with confidential and highly sensitive information
• Others: Must be willing to travel to branch office in Yangon
