Scheduling
-Perform duties related to the planning (scheduling) of the factory output
-Maintain adequate labour requirements to meet DIFOT/ achievement and agreed
production orders.
Stock Control
-Monitor stock control of raw materials, Ordering where necessary from both external and
internal sources
-Enter Purchase orders and Purchase deliveries
Day to day Organisation
-Day to day production planning of factory
-Day to day organisation and supervision of staff
Staff and Staff Training
-To oversee and submit time sheets
-To hire factory staff where agreed
-To deal with any Production Staff issues or challenges
-Be able to educate and develop the Production team.
Productivity!
-Ensure product is being produced in a timely manner according to organization's standards
Quality
-Ensure factory output is according to Company standards
Maintenance
-Ensure maintenance is carried out on Plant and Machinery according to agreed
schedules
Reporting
Report the effectiveness and efficiency of the Production Facilities;
a) DIFOT
b) Productivity
c) Re Work and warranty claims
Health and Safety
- Leading Health and Safety across the team ensuring staff are actively engaged in
identifying Hazards and controlling risks
- Reporting in a timely manner key Health and Safety Hazards and risks to the facility,
staff and visitors to other member of the management team
- Attend all Health & Safety meetings, ensure records are kept up to date and Fire
Warden, First Aiders certificates are current. Oversee all new employees are given
Health & Safety training and any incidents/accidents are reported and the correct
paperwork is filed, procedures followed.
