Primary duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the branches from respective region to set, monitor and support for targets of Active borrowers and Outstanding Loan Portfolio amounts.
• Report to Business Manager related Operational works for her assign area.
• Representing the program to local partners, local authorities and governments officials as regional and township levels.
• Developing regional implementation strategies and operational plans (including expansion to new areas); setting regional and branch performance targets both clients and outstanding loan portfolio and ensuring achievement of said targets.
• Supervising overall operations of the region and all respective branch offices; monitor branch performance such as portfolio quality, standard case load and sustainability plan.
• Oversees all aspects of expansion in the region, including the establishment of new branch offices and staff selection and trainings.
• Conducts refresher training as required and necessary
• Summarize disbursement plans of the branches from him/her region and summit to Operations Manager.
• Report immediately any delinquency, cash deficiency and/or any other problems; and support to branches to solve these problems
• Conduct monitoring visits to branch offices, as planned.
• Set annual performance evaluation of branch managers, assets mid-term and annually and evaluate to base on performance.
• Check, supervise, combine and monitor the Branch plans and budget.
• Recruit new Loan Officers and assist to provide in service trainings.
• Supervise and lead branch managers to control client retention rate in respective region.
• Participate and discuss with strong strategy for the region’s sustainability in BM review monthly meeting and regional manager meeting.
• Closely work with product manager to ensure to follow all policy changes.
• Must visit responsible branches in every month do surprise check to the collection points and client’s business.
• Approve loan proposals the amounts over the limit of Branch Managers from his or her region.
• Present internal and external audits for their respective regions when required.
• Supervise and ensure the staff from branches to follow policy and procedures of Dawn and maintain best customer service.
• Strong coordination across different departments from Dawn.
• Report to Business Manager/HOO for the progress of Branches and strategic to change methodology of Dawn base on best market practices.
• Performing other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or Head Of Operations.

Job Requirements

Person Specification
• Completion of university degree.
• Minimum three years working experience in micro-finance.
• Minimum three years management experience and managing on several teams.
• Experience supervising at least 30 staff members and several teams
• Good communication, coordination, monitoring and planning skills
• Understanding of region desirable
• Ability to communicate in English and local language highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal, budgeting, financial, supervision, planning and monitoring skills required
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions
• Must be strong Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of geographic area desirable
• Ability to travel throughout Myanmar and willingly to take responsible in any region of Dawn as necessary
