Job Description
As a Sales Manager for Myanmar Golden Eagle Co., Ltd, you will be accountable for setting and executing strategies that maximize category sales for a designated category or categories ensuring alignment with broader business goals. In this role you will manage the day-to-day relationships with customers, understand the market relative to those customers and translate that information back to the organization for developing effective strategic plans.

Initiating a search for a Sale Manager for a well-established multinational (JV) manufacturing company. Position will manage a team (including Sales/Customer Service, Operations, etc.) and be heavily involved (strategically/tactically/execution) in helping to aggressively grow/expand their market share/territory and top/bottom-line profitability. This position will join our growing Sales team and be responsible for driving growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales programs for new and existing products and customers
• Identify and pursue incremental sales volume by determining new products that have customer specific uses
• Develop and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure a favorable standing in the marketplace
• Perform routine customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction, address quality concerns and register customer complaints
• Work cross-functionally with all levels of the company as it relates to quality and process improvement that support sales initiatives and addresses customer issues
• Understand the customer’s market and can develop and tailor sales plans to meet their needs
• Assist in the development of contracts; Negotiate new and renewed contracts
• Manage inventory in assigned area of responsibility and resolves shortage issues
• Demonstrate container glasses’ knowledge and bottle making techniques and can effectively present this information to and respond to questions from client groups
• Able to develop, monitor and track sales key performance indicators
• Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance, and product initiatives.
• Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Confers with the Executive Director and other executive-level personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
• Responsible to review production and operating reports and resolve operational, and facility problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet future growth.
• Establishes and promotes excellent working relationships with current and prospective customers, outside service providers, and other groups as necessary.
• Attends approved trade shows, conferences, and other business development gatherings according to established plan and protocol.

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of sales/marketing experience
• 5+ years of managing commercial resources
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of P & L and the levers that drive the P & L
Required Skills:
• Ensures agreements with verification from Commercial, supply chain, finance and demand planning regularly.
• Ability to follow process flows and understand intricacies across the MGE’s and processing platforms
• Knowledge of manufacturing is a plus.
• Fluency in spoken English and good English writing skills required.
• Good presentation skills and people skills; team player.
