Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

1) Serve as overall in-charge in the domestic of EWMM.—67%

- Calculate annual production target, and plan where to produce such targets in different production areas.
- Provide technical advice to local Seed Production personnel and farmers and visit the contracted farmers regularly.
- Conduct crop inspections of all seed productions.
- Draw the medium-term plan and set the direction of the Department
- Plan for the improvement of skills and development of SP personnel through training and study tour activities
- Provide technical information needs of SP personnel
- Analyze production and research data and translate it into action plans
- Conduct regular Supervisors meeting

2) Perform administrative functions such as approval of cash advances, Expense Reports (ER) reimbursement, signing of checks (farmers’ payments) and requisition
slips, etc—10%
3) Prepare production reports and budgetary requirements of the Department—7%
4) Participate in Management and Committee meetings—5%
5) Review the production planning module in ABS every month-6%
6) Other administrative tasks as assigned by management - 5%

Job Requirements

1) Educational Background

- At least a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Science or related field
- At least 10 years experience in agricultural production, community development, extension work, and farming activities


2) Skills & Knowledge

- Agronomy
- Applied Plant Pathology
- Applied Entomology
- Basic of seed technology
- Basic plant breeding
- Computer (Excel,Word, Internet, ABS)
- High level of English Proficiency in written and spoken
- Good reporting skill
