Senior Marketing Manager (Seed) is the key commercial resource of the company for driving Aventine Seed Business in the designated territory. He / She will be responsible for managing the Sales, Collections, Manage existing Dealers and channel expansion, product promotion and drive end-user demand for seeds business. Implementation of commercial strategies and achievement of business goals and market share growth with excellent customer service are integral part of the job scope.Commercial : 1. Should be able to grow seeds business for Aventine Ltd by managing existing Dealers and expanding business through appointment of new potential dealers for suitable market coverage.2. Should possess commercial ability to manage Sales of Seeds (Corn, Paddy, Veg, and Cotton) as per budget on a month wise basis in designated markets through Dealers.3. Ensure timely collection of all dues from the market as per company policy4. Prepare commercial sales schemes to match the budget and targeted business profitability5. Manage inventory of seeds at Warehouse & POS (Dealer) to ensure seamless product movement and minimum loss from expiry, qualitative rejection and obsolescence.Non Commercial : 6. Generate adequate market intelligence by periodically reporting to the company about market opportunity, challenges and updates on competitive landscape in Myanmar seed market.7. Help the company in screening, testing and trialing new products for commercialization, while working with the TD ( Technology Development ) team8. Support the TD & Regulatory team to generate and evaluate data required for the registrations of new seeds from reliable sources.9. Capability to drive market development activities by organizing field demonstrations, farmer meetings, dealer meetings and product campaigns for various types of seeds.10. Should be able to motivate and lead seed team, exhibiting strong leadership skills.
Graduate in Agriculture with good academic records. 1) At least 3-5 years’ experience in agriculture & seed industry at a commercial position and preferably having experience of managing a team of at least 7-10 people. 2) Proven records of high performance. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are desirable.Functional Competencya) Analytical abilityb) Computer skills – MS Excel, Word, PPTXc) Communication – Burmese (Fluent) & English (optional)d) Driving – 4 Wheeler Driving License
