Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Perform daily inspection of air compressors, air dryers and receivers
  • Record operating parameters such as pressure, temperature and vibriation in the logbook
  • Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule (oil change, filter replacement, belt tension adjustment, etc)
  • Troubleshoot mechancial faults such as air leakage, abnormal noise and overheating
  • Support electrical technicians during motor or control panel maintenance
  • Clean and maintain compressor room and equipment area
  • Prepare maintenance reports and update maintenance records
  • Monitor spare parts and inform the engineer for replenishment
  • Ensure safe working practices (LOTO, PPE, confined space safety)
  • Assist during shutdown maintenance and testing.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or B.E (Mechanical/ Electrical / Mechatronics)
  • Basic knowledge of rotary screw and reciprocating compressors
  • Able to read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Teamwork and good communication skills
  • Work inside power plant area with exposure to noise and heat
  • May be required to work on weekends or public holidays during shutdown
