Job Summary            : The Assistant BD Manager will support the development and execution of business strategies, with a heavy emphasis on the planning, operational efficiency, and construction phases of solar energy projects. This role bridges the gap between high-level business growth and on-site technical execution, ensuring that project milestones align with commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solar Project Implementation: Support the Employer in the implementation, planning, and construction phases of the Minbu Solar Power Plant and future solar initiatives.
• On-Site Operational Support: Provide direct operational support to internal engineering teams, EPC contractors, and subcontractors on-site to ensure construction remains on schedule.
• Technical Vendor Coordination: Manage third-party vendors and subcontractors involved specifically in solar project feasibility, design, and site implementation.
• Project Governance: Assist in the execution of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and specifically within the allocated construction budget.
• Stakeholder & Government Liaison: Work closely with Myanmar governmental agencies and private sector partners to navigate regulatory requirements for solar energy.
• Strategic Reporting: Prepare regular reports on construction status, operational efficiency, and overall business performance for senior management.
• Financial & Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and work with financial data to identify areas for operational improvement in the renewable energy sector.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or Engineering (related to construction/energy)
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development or operations management, specifically within the construction or solar power industry.
• Languages: Full proficiency in English and Myanmar; ability to translate technical and commercial documents between both languages is required
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.
• Mobility: Must be able to travel domestically to project sites (including Minbu) and abroad as instructed without prior notice.
