Roles and Responsibilities

 

1. Partner Identification & Strategic Coordination

  • Identify and source business partners, distributors, and resellers.
  • Conduct MOU / agreement / contract negotiations with local and foreign suppliers, principals, and partners.
  • Prepare and support necessary information for partnership discussions, MOUs, and agreements.
  • Negotiate OEM / ODM / third-party manufacturing contracts.
  • Develop strategies for government tenders and institutional business.
  • Develop business plans that comply with FDA and regulatory requirements.

2. Channel Development & Market Expansion

  • Expand and develop distribution channels including distributors, wholesalers, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
  • Build and maintain key accounts (hospital groups, NGOs, tender markets).
  • Establish regional and national distribution networks.
  • Assist in analyzing target markets and potential customer segments.
  • Collaborate on contract processes and strategy development related to government tenders.

3. Product & Business Opportunity Development

  • Identify OEM and contract manufacturing opportunities.
  • Prepare data and proposals for new products and portfolio expansion.
  • Collaborate with the regulatory team on product registration and import/export requirements.

4. Association & Event Participation

  • Support and participate with management in business associations, meetings, seminars, and trade fairs.
  • Conduct networking activities with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and wholesalers.
  • Build networks with government organizations.
  • Assist in membership processes with organizations such as the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), the Myanmar Pharmaceutical & Medical Equipment Entrepreneurs Association (MPMEEA), and other relevant trade associations.

5. Reporting, Documentation & Data Management

  • Prepare and submit relevant business development (BD) reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain partner lists, agreement status, and market data systematically.
  • Report work progress and updates related to assigned duties to management/HOD in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Any Graduate with Diploma/Certificate in business management

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, business relations and partnership finding.
  • Hands-on experience in business research and analysis.
  • Have experience in pharmaceutical/consumer goods/distribution industry is preferred.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills in both English and Myanmar (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Good Networking, Presentation, Coordination, Negotiation and analytical skills
