Job Summary
Join KBZ Bank’s Finance team in Yangon as a detail-oriented accounting professional supporting accurate journal processing, monthly closing, reconciliations, and reporting. 

Key Responsibilities
● Review and authorize journal entries in SAP S4H ERP and Flexcube, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
● Record monthly cost accruals correctly and reverse entries when actual invoices are received.
● Coordinate with procurement and internal teams to follow approval workflows and meet month-end deadlines.
● Assist in preparing prepaid schedules, recurring entries, and other monthly closing tasks in SAP.
● Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned GLs and report findings to management.
● Review expense GLs, analyze unusual movements, and escalate issues where necessary.
● Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
● Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, reports, and documentation.
● Handle ad hoc tasks and special projects assigned by the line manager or CFO.

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● Minimum 3 years of experience in a related accounting role.
● Strong understanding of accounting standards and month-end closing processes.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
● Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
● Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
