Position Objective:

 

We are looking for an experienced Brand & Propositions Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing activities and initiatives that increase brand value, awareness, loyalty and brand share. As a Brand Manager you will work closely with different marketing verticals to create and execute marketing initiatives that resonate with the target market and increase brand awareness, loyalty, sales and share of business.

You will also be tasked with developing budgets, forecasting and assessing KPIs and ROI.

To be successful as a Brand Manager, you should have a good understanding of consumer behaviour, be up-to-date on market trends in the life and health insurance industry, and continuously monitor competitor activity. You will also be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, developing go-to-market strategies and reporting on brand performance.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Is the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects.
  • Plans, implements, and executes successful consumer and customer marketing programs (including brand strategic planning, market positioning, promotion, advertising).
  • Leads annual brand planning process.
  • Sets brand planning calendar, coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Leads the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, campaigns, and other marketing vehicles.
  • Utilizes category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in marketing development as well as marketing initiatives.
  • Plans and executes events and promotions within target communities and clusters
  • Works with partners and affiliates to deliver on the Healthier, Longer, Better Lives purpose, expand audience and prospect outreach
  • Provides reporting to allow proper measurement of marketing activities and strategic recommendations based on analysis of ongoing consumer and customer marketing programs.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of division and company.

Job Requirements

  • Education – an MBA or a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing Management with completion of graduate studies in Marketing.  
  • Experience – minimum 3 years as a manager in a managerial role and 7 years in a solid marketing path. A strong track record in Brand Marketing, Marketing Research and good Digital Marketing work exposure are essential.
  • Special skills – Consumer Segmentation-Positioning-Targeting, Go-to-Market Strategies, Brand Planning, Budgeting, Data Analytics.
