Job Summary
Own the domain and assist on the procurement related activities for Construction department and other domains assigned ensuring that the required assets are procured in timely and efficient manner following the procurement standard operation procedure.


Key Responsibilities
Procurement

  • Lead all the procurement activities in terms of material and service purchase on Construction and Branch maintenance RFQs/ CFTs
  • Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist on PR / PO activates on procurement system.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders understanding their needs and translate it to effective procurement.

Vendor

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.

Projects

  • Manage, track, and coordinate the projects of the department
  • Provide line manager and stakeholders with regular project status updates, and escalate issues where appropriate to ensure that all deliverables and deadlines are met

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business field such as economics, logistics, supply chain management, operations management, finance, construction, or statistical analysis).
  • Minimum 6 years working experiences in procurement specializing in Construction and Banking business.
  • Experience of working closely with construction, maintenance, and consumer banking team to deliver outstanding value driven results
  • Strong commercial, relationship building, negotiation and procurement knowledge
  • Able to adhere to clear working processes, scopes of work ensuring perfect delivery
  • Able to understand financial
  • Proficient in identifying Risks and putting in Controls
  • Capable to execute and manage multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Capable to create and deliver clear, concise, and well-structured presentations and reports
  • Capable to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Capable to fulfill various duties and responsibilities
  • Strong analytical skill and critical thinking skill
  • Build and manage effective relationships with functional teams and other business units
  • Create a climate of openness and trust in which people can freely speak out
  • Achieve excellence in all tasks and goals while managing Risk
  • Provide performance feedbacks that facilitate development
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills in both Myanmar and English.
