About the job

  • Ensure that all Carlsberg Quality systems standards and methods, tools and process are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements
  • Leadership role for IMS program covering quality and food safety.
  • Perform Quality trainings and provide constant coaching to functional leaders and their teams
  • Primarily focused on consistently delivering finished product meeting all Carlsberg standards and specifications.
  • End-to-End oversight from suppliers and incoming materials to transportation and distribution of finished products to customers.
  • Proactively aligns self and team towards the agreed priorities

People Management

  • Training of QA and operational teams in line with departmental and individual plans (competencies and skills)
  • Develop multiskilling among the team
  • Ensure resources are managed without operational impact
  • Accountable for team member’s individual performance evaluation

 

Process Management

  • Ensure equipment for quality checks (labs, at line and in line) is calibrated and maintained.
  • Manage internal audit program and oversee effective closure of non-conformances/observations
  • Ensure the test method is up to date according to COM
  • Ensure the compliance to sampling plan and sample preparation sending to external lab
  • Supplier management on the food safety compliance and performance feedback
  • Support on the QMMS compliance action closure
  • Advise on labelling requirements, customer information (including nutritional, specifications and questionnaires) and artwork approval.
  • Manage the document control system related to audits.

 

Performance Management

  • Delivering effective performance from all site quality and food safety systems and procedures.
  • Driving improvements in productivity and efficiency of all quality assurance and control activities.
  • Responsible for managing Quality KPI s at their respective site in line with Country, Region and Group targets
  • Ensure Quality KPIs are implicitly understood and managed efficiently at an appropriate level (i.e.: RFT, Market Survey etc.)
  • Responsible for consistent collection and reporting of key quality metrics including all RFT (Right First Time) measures.
  • Accountable for monitoring and investigating (as needed) quality related consumer/customer complaints.
  • Initiates local Quality performance reviews, identify trends, initiates and participates in problem solving activities
  • Managing Quality department financial budget (OPEX)
  • Supporting and advising operational teams in Quality improvement projects (related to OPEX and CAPEX)

 

Functional Specific Management

  • Conduct field observations, inspections, coaching and guidance, 30% of time minimum in the field
  • Supports local operational teams liaise with service providers and contractors to ensure their compliance with local systems
  • Advises and is a member of the local Crisis Management Team or/and Emergency Response Team in case of critical or serious Quality incident
  • Supporting Carlsberg excellence development in responsibility

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Engineering, Life Science, Other Technical Programs or Equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years quality or production experience, preferably in FMCG or Food industry, with some time at management level.

 

Language skills:

  • Fluent in local language (spoken and written)
  • Fluent in English (preferable)
