Assistant Officer/ Officer, Compensation and Benefits is responsible for coordinating and administering compensation and benefits operations, including payroll, taxation, employee benefits, performance management, manpower budgeting, HR policies, and HR systems. The role supports the implementation of compensation and benefits programs, HR digitalization initiatives, workforce reporting, and related HR operations to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and business objectives. 

 

Key Accountabilities: 

• Review, maintain and update the Company's HR policies, remuneration framework, rules and regulations by conducting research, benchmarking and analysis of internal and external practices, ensuring alignment with 
business requirements, legal requirements and company direction. 
• Coordinate and administer the annual manpower budget planning and review process, including manpower costing, budget analysis, forecasting and consolidation to support management decision-making. 
• Administer payroll, personal income tax and related payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing. 
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including banks, government authorities, auditors and service providers, on payroll, taxation, statutory contributions and other related matters. 
• Administer employee benefits and reimbursement programs in accordance with company policies, ensuring accurate verification, processing and record management. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll, compensation, benefits and tax-related information across HR systems and records, ensuring data integrity and compliance. 
• Prepare employment certifications, salary certifications, recommendation letters and other HR-related documentation. 
• Coordinate and administer the Annual Performance Appraisal, Merit Increase and related performance reward processes, ensuring effective system administration, calibration, governance and timely 
execution. 
• Coordinate and administer HR international mobility support. 
• Review and coordinate Workplace Coordinating Committee matters and requests, provide HR coordination and administrative support.
• Coordinate and implement HR digitalization and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, complete and timely HR data, ensuring integrity, consistency and compliance across HR records and systems. 
• Prepare, analyze and provide regular and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics to support management decision-making. 
• Coordinate and administer employee medical benefits.
• Administer the employee leave management process.

• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, or a related Human Resources function. 

• Experience in payroll administration, personal income tax, employee benefits and HR systems is preferred. 
• Experience in HR policy administration, performance management, budgeting, international mobility or HR digitalization initiatives will be an advantage. 
• Excellent communication in Myanmar and English. 
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
