An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Job function: To maximize and manage the parts department’s productivity and profitability, whist coordinating stock levels to meet the demand of customers and service departments. To pro-actively improve the growth of the parts department. Also, to manage parts counter staff to maximize output and parts availability.

Essential Duties:

  • Allocate tasks to parts counter staff based on expertise and skills.
  • Maximize sales in parts and attachments to reach and maintain absorption profit.
  • Ensure all parts staff clearly understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Maintain discipline and organization, ensuring cleanliness and safety of the working environment.
  • Assist new employees’ recruitment, with the direction of the Aftersales Head/ Operation Head
  • Assist with the counter sales to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor parts & attachment sales on monthly basis to maintain sales, profitability, and budget targets.
  • Carryout parts processes in a consistent manner e.g. ordering, receiving, inventory, selling, returns and marketing.
  • To manage parts warranty and return claims within the desired time frames.
  • Coordinate with the Aftersales Head and Operation Head over the training needs and experience of the parts team, and delegate tasks to meet these needs.
  • To supervise, motivate and coach the parts team.
  • Help maintain relationships between internal departments.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the Parts Marketing Plan.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3 - 5 years experiences in the parts business relative to generator and heavy machinery.
  • Abality to work under pressure.
  • Compter literate.
  • Experience or knowledge of the industry.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Abality to motivate and lead others.
  • Flexibility in their approach to working day.
  • Travel required 40%
