Job Summary           

The Business Development Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth through robust financial and business analysis. This position is responsible for providing analytical and operational support, predominantly in financial modeling and strategic evaluation of new business opportunities. The analyst ensures sound financial decision-making, contributes to project development efforts, and supports sustainable business expansion. The role demands a strong foundation in finance, analytical thinking, and effective cross-functional collaboration to help shape a company’s long-term strategy.          

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis

• Develop and maintain robust financial models (e.g. ROI, NPV, IRR, DCF) to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial statements and economic data to evaluate business and project performance.
• Predicting future financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow, using various analytical techniques and tools.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for business development initiatives.
• Partner with Finance teams on strategic planning, and cost-benefit evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal reporting standards. 
• Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with investments and financial decisions

2. Business Analysis & Strategic Support

• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
• Evaluate internal processes, workflows, and operations to recommend areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into actionable recommendations, reports, and presentations.
• Support the preparation of proposals, business plans, and strategic documents.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, and Project teams to align BD strategies with organizational goals.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both internal leadership and external stakeholders..

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or related certification is a plus).

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or business analysis, preferably within a business development or project finance environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and abilities

• Strong financial and investment analysis skills, including experience in project financial modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
• Familiarity with the Myanmar market, business landscape, and regulatory environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required by management.
