• BI Developer should have a right balance of strong qualitative and analytical skills, excellent time management, communication, client interaction and coordination skills.
• This role holder will have the primary responsibility for reports and KPI dashboards development and analysis, including data validation.
• The person requires a thorough, detailed, creative and sharp analytical candidate who can effectively collaborate with others to identify report requirements, design features and specifications.
• The person should have proficiency in using SQL Scripting, PL/SQL and a deep understanding of relational databases and data warehousing.
• Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend, and implement process improvements.
• Actively participates in the on-going development, maintenance, and improvement of a comprehensive Knowledge Base/FAQ repository.

• Degree holders of Computer Science, Information Technology & Information Systems would be relevant.

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in designing complex reports using TIBCO JasperSoft Studio and JasperReports Server preferably within the financial industry.

• Good knowledge of Core Java and able to write functions and scriptlets for calling Jasper Reports.

• Experience in creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views and Exception Handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking data sets in Oracle.
• Good knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle inbuilt function.
• Knowledge of ETL data cleansing, data quality, and standardization techniques.

• Hands-on experience in a business intelligence tools such as SSRS, PowerBI and Tableau would be an added advantage.

• Awareness of common application development related technologies –JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML is a plus.

• Ability to work under less supervision and to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of various Insurance Products is an added advantage.
