Job Summary

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the fitness club, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, cash flow management, budgeting, payroll, and internal controls. The role supports management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
