Job Description

Oversees the accounting and financial reporting activities of all business units, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies Standard
Prepare and analyze financial monthly reports, monthly budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Strong knowledge of Myanmar Accounting Standards and IFRS, costing, taxation and corporate governance.
Ensure compliance with tax and submit timely tax reports.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and liaise with corporate finance team and respond promptly to management inquiries regarding financial performance and accounting matters.
Perform monthly inventory checks with operations and reconcile with accounting records
Check and verify import shipment costing calculations.
Manage oversea AP/AR transactions.
Train, mentor, and manage the finance team to build capability and a collaborative team environment.
Support management with financial information for strategic decision-making.
Provide advice to the Account Manager on the company’s financial condition.

Job Requirements

Graduated with Bachelor Degree (more preferred B.Com , B.A Eco) with ACCA part (II) or Dip IFRS
Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a Chief Accountant position.
Must have strong knowledge in Advance Excel, Power Point, Email, and Accounting /Peachtree Software.
Must have excellent understanding of financial regulations, Myanmar tax and compliance requirements.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Age above 35 years.
