Job Summary

Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis; manage the Accounting

and Sales Cashier teams; and ensure the accuracy of financial records,

effective internal controls, and efficient Odoo accounting system operations to

support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting transactions, sales invoices, receipts, contracts, quotations, and advance sales to ensure accurate and complete financial records.

• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), review outstanding balances, and ensure timely collection and payment follow-up.

• Review inventory records, inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and fixed asset records.

• Review advance claims, supporting documents, and accounting entries to ensure compliance with company policies and approval procedures.

• Oversee bank and cash reconciliation and monitor the accuracy of cash and bank records.

• Prepare and review group consolidated financial statements and executive summary reports.

• Prepare financial analysis reports with graphical presentations, monthly comparisons, and significant variance analysis.

• Prepare and review project, trading contract, quotation, and advance sales summary reports.

• Prepare and review AR/AP reports, foreign exchange gain or loss reports, and intercompany transaction summaries.

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and budget-versus-actual performance to support management decision-making.

• Oversee Odoo Accounting Software configuration, data entry, error correction, and overall accounting system management.

• Maintain the Chart of Accounts, accounting configurations, financial master data, and period-closing procedures in Odoo.

• Monitor the accuracy of accounting entries generated through Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and other relevant Odoo modules.

• Manage Odoo user access rights and permissions to maintain data integrity and appropriate segregation of duties.

• Establish, review, and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, finance policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Identify accounting discrepancies, operational risks, and process weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions and improvements.

• Manage, supervise, and monitor the Accounting and Sales Cashier teams, ensuring work quality and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members and coordinate with management and relevant departments to resolve financial and operational issues.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including team management or supervisory experience.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidated financial statements, AR/AP, inventory valuation, COGS, cash flow management, and internal controls.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software; experience with Odoo Accounting Software is highly preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis, including graphical presentations, monthly comparisons, and variance analysis.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial policies, and period-closing procedures.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with management and cross-functional teams.

• High attention to detail, integrity, accountability, and the ability to meet deadlines.
