Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  1. Lead technical inputs during project feasibility studies, concept design, and development
  2. Define optimal configuration (power distribution, power transmission, solar, hydro, coal, gas, etc.)
  3. Support PPA negotiations with technical inputs (capacity, availability, heat rate, etc.)
  4. Lead preparation of: Technical specifications, Employer’s Requirements (ER) and RFP documents
  5. Evaluate EPC proposals (technical compliance, design adequacy, risks)
  6. Oversee: Engineering design reviews, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site construction and installation and Commissioning and performance testing
  7. Ensure compliance with contractual guarantees (efficiency, output, availability)
  8. Establish O&M philosophy (in-house vs outsourced)
  9. Monitor plant performance: Heat rate, Availability / capacity factor, Auxiliary consumption
  10. Optimize: Maintenance schedules, Spare parts strategy and Lifecycle cost
  11. Support troubleshooting of major technical issues
  12. Technical Risk Management
  13. Manage external consultants, Owner’s Engineers, and contractors
  14. Build and lead the engineering team
  15.  Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination and Support environmental and social compliance

Job Requirements

  1. B.E (EP) or Master Level is preferred
  2. Strong academic background in Power Systems or Renewable Energy Technologies.
  3. Over 10 years of experience in the engineering field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
  4. Proven track record of managing large-scale renewable energy projects (Solar plants, Hydropower, or Wind Energy)
  5. Extensive experience in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and asset management of power assets.
  6. Ability to lead technical design reviews, feasibility studies, and engineering calculations for renewable projects.
  7. Proficiency in manpower planning, resource allocation, and budget management for the engineering department.
  8. Excellent command of English and Burmese with the ability to present reports to the Board of Directors and external stakeholders.
  9. Willing to Travel in Local or Oversea
