Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Calculate the estimated budget for units, teams, groups, or organizations within the project area of responsibility.
  • Monitors new technology and evaluates, tests, learns, studies, and practices on the latest equipment and new surveying methods.
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and survey descriptions to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
  • Plan and conduct ground surveys following the designed plan, including baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
  • Record the survey results, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
  • Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Train assistants and helpers and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in Geomatics, GIS, Photogrammetry, Remote sensing, and Land & Bathymetric Surveying.
  • Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate the work of survey parties and related staff surveying the earth's surface and preparing reports and maps.
  • Excellent experience in using surveying instruments and mapping tools software.
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • Flexible approach to work and be prepared to work extra hours as and when required.
