Key Responsibilities:

1. SHE Management System and Legal Compliance:

• Assist management in developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System.
• Ensure that SHE policies, procedures, work instructions, standards, and programs are effectively implemented throughout the factory.
• Support and coordinate compliance with applicable national laws, regulations, permits, licenses, and other SHE requirements.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure that audit findings, nonconformities, and corrective actions are properly addressed and closed.
• Monitor changes in SHE-related legislation and communicate relevant requirements to management and concerned departments.
• Prepare and submit required SHE reports, records, and documentation to management and relevant authorities.

2. Occupational Safety Management:

• Identify workplace hazards and support departments in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Support the development and implementation of safety procedures, including LOTO, confined space entry, work at height, hot work, electrical safety, machine safety, lifting operations, chemical safety, and other high-risk activities.
• Ensure appropriate selection, provision, use, maintenance, and replacement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure contractors comply with the Company's SHE requirements.
• Promote proactive safety reporting, including near misses, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and safety observations.
• Monitor and report safety performance, including injury cases, Lost Time Injuries, incident rates, near misses, and other SHE KPIs.

3. Occupational Health Management:

• Support the identification and assessment of occupational health hazards, including noise, dust, heat, chemicals, ergonomic risks, and other workplace exposures.
• Coordinate occupational health monitoring and workplace exposure assessments where required.
• Support the implementation of medical surveillance and health monitoring programs for employees exposed to occupational hazards.
• Support and conduct occupational health and seasonal disease awareness and prevention programs.
• Monitor workplace welfare facilities, including drinking water, sanitation facilities, canteen hygiene, ventilation, lighting, and other employee welfare requirements.
• Support the prevention and investigation of occupational illnesses and work-related health issues.
• Monitor health-related complaints and recommend appropriate corrective actions and preventive measures.

4. Environmental Management:

• Implement and maintain the Company's Environmental Management System.
• Review and approve the environmental aspects and impacts associated with the Company's operations, products, and services.
• Support departments in identifying and implementing appropriate controls for significant environmental aspects.
• Monitor compliance with environmental permits, regulations, and other applicable environmental requirements.
• Review the environmental performance, including energy consumption, water consumption, waste generation, air emissions, wastewater, and other relevant environmental indicators.
• Support the implementation of pollution prevention and environmental protection measures.
• Support energy efficiency, resource conservation, greenhouse gas reduction, and decarbonization initiatives.
• Review and investigate environmental incidents, spills, leaks, abnormal emissions, and other environmental nonconformities and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.

5. Incident Management and Investigation:

• Ensure that accidents, incidents, near misses, occupational illnesses, environmental incidents, and property damage cases are reported, investigated, and documented.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations using appropriate root cause analysis methods.
• Review and determine the identifying of immediate causes, underlying causes, and root causes of incidents.
• Coordinate the development, implementation, and verification of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare incident investigation reports and communicate lessons learned throughout the organization.
• Analyze SHE incident trends and recommend improvement actions to management.

6. Emergency Preparedness and Response:

• Develop, review, and maintain emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Support emergency preparedness for fire, explosion, chemical release, gas leakage, earthquake, severe weather, medical emergencies, and other potential emergency situations.
• Coordinate emergency response teams and ensure that their roles, responsibilities, training, and competency are maintained.
• Plan and coordinate emergency drills and exercises.
• Evaluate emergency drill performance and implement improvement actions.
• Ensure that emergency equipment and facilities are regularly inspected, maintained, and ready for use.
• Coordinate with relevant external emergency services and authorities when required.

7. Training, Awareness, and SHE Culture:

• Identify SHE training and competency requirements for employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors.
• Develop and coordinate the annual SHE training plan.
• Conduct or coordinate SHE inductions, toolbox talks, safety meetings, awareness campaigns, and specialized training.
• Support the development of supervisors and employees to improve safety leadership and personal responsibility.
• Encourage a positive reporting culture and continuous improvement mindset.
• Communicate SHE performance, incidents, lessons learned, legal requirements, and improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
• Promote a strong safety, health, and environmental culture at all levels of the organization.

8. SHE Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:

• Establish, monitor, and report SHE objectives, targets, KPIs, and performance indicators.
• Prepare regular SHE performance reports for management.
• Monitor trends related to accidents, injuries, near misses, environmental performance, energy, water, waste, and other relevant indicators.
• Analyze SHE data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend practical improvement projects and programs to strengthen SHE performance.
• Support continual improvement of the Company's SHE Management System and overall SHE culture.

9. Leadership and Coordination:

• Provide professional SHE advice and guidance to management, department managers, supervisors, employees, and contractors.
• Coordinate SHE activities across all departments and production areas.
• Support senior management in achieving the Company's SHE objectives and targets.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to SHE team members.
• Support the development of SHE team competency and capability.
• Participate in management, operational, production, project, and improvement meetings to provide SHE input.
• Escalate significant SHE risks and concerns to management when necessary.

10. Additional Responsibilities:

• Coordinate factory-related insurance matters, including communicating relevant insurance policy information to concerned employees, notifying the insurance company in the event of an emergency or incident, and serving as a key communication coordinator between the Company, insurance providers, and other relevant parties.
• Coordinate and support safety and fire safety inspections for third-party warehouses to ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and Company standards.
• Perform any other Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the higher management.

•  Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
•  Minimum 5 years of SHE experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
•  Strong knowledge of Myanmar HSE regulations and OSHA standards
•  Experience with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 systems
•  Factory/manufacturing experience preferred
•  Strong leadership and communication skills
