Translate technical documents, reports, manuals, and specifications related to energy projects from Chinese to English & Burmese and vice versa.
Assist in interpreting during meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of technical terminology in translations.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication.
Maintain a glossary of technical terms and ensure proper usage throughout the project.
Support documentation and record-keeping of translated materials.

Job Requirements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chinese Translator, preferably in the energy, oil & gas, or energy industry.
Excellent command of both Chinese (Mandarin) and English (written and spoken).
Strong understanding of technical and engineering terminology related to the energy sectors.
Ability to interpret technical discussions accurately.
Proficiency in translation tools and software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
