This  role  is  a  great  opportunity  to  lead  the  building    and  growing   of   the commercial department of a beverage manufacturer  and  distributor.  We are looking for someone who can dream big and   building  a  strong  foundation  to  achieve  these  big  goals.  Big  picture  thinking,  strong management skills and hard work are crucial.
To  increase sales,   market   share,   brand   value and   profits, the Commercial Manager will   be responsible for planning  and achieving  all short-term and long-term sales  and marketing goals that are  established with the  Sales   Manager  and  Marketing  Manager and approved by the Managing Director.
 The  Commercial Manager  reports  to  Managing Director  and  manages the Sales Manager (SM)   and  the  Marketing Manager (MM).    He/she  will  also  coordinate  with  all  relevant managers such as Finance, Purchasing, Motor, Production and HR.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Establish sales goals and marketing goals based on vision of the directors
2. Create and implement strategies to achieve agreed upon goals
3. Plan and ensure successful implementation of regional competitive strategies
4. Create and manage budget for the Commercial department
5. Manage, provide guidance to and set goals as well as KPI’s with the national sales manager and national marketing managers.
6. Analysis, interpretation and reporting of market research results and sales results
7. Lead new product development efforts with the Production departments
8. Recruit, retain and train talent for the Commercial Department

Job Requirements

- Any University Graduate, A Diploma (or) Certificate in Marketing & Sales is of additional advantage.

- Age under 45 years, At least 5 years experience in FMCG sales & marketing field.

- Development and implementation of strategic sales & marketing plans, and budget management.

- Computer literate – MS Word, Excel, Power Point & E-mail.
