ROLE PURPOSE

Yoma Bank is recruiting a talented Creative Designer role to join its very dynamic Marketing and Communications Department. This role play in developing creative visual concept that aligns with Yoma Bank’s brand identity and marketing objectives. This role will support various internal and external communication efforts through high-quality design solutions, ensuring brand consistency and engagement across multiple platforms.This position requires strong creative and technical expertise, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Creative Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling marketing materials, oversee production processes, and implement AI-driven design solutions. The role also requires conducting research and competitor analysis to ensure high-quality and market-relevant creative output while continuously developing new skillsets and staying ahead of industry trends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Concepts and Brand Consistency:

• Develop compelling and innovative designs for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, advertisements, brochures, reports, events and POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials).
• Ensure all designs align with Yoma Bank’s brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all communication channels.
• Utilize AI-powered design tools to enhance creative output and efficiency.
• Maintain an organized asset library to streamline the design process and ensure accessibility of visual materials.
• Continuously enhance design skills by researching and adopting new design techniques, software, and creative methodologies.

Marketing and Digital Strategies Support

• Work closely with internal teams to design creative assets for marketing campaigns, promotions, internal communications and corporate initiatives.
• Support the execution of marketing strategies by providing timely and high-quality design solutions.
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance design approaches.
• Monitor competitor/ trend campaigns and branding efforts to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Visual Storytelling, AI integration and Social Video Creation:

• Develop visual storytelling elements that effectively communicate key messages and enhance user engagement.
• Design infographics, illustrations, and motion graphics as needed for various marketing and corporate projects.
• Create engaging social media videos and animations to support brand communication.
• Leverage AI software for design automation, concept generation, and enhancing creative processes.
• Stay updated with design trends and apply innovative techniques to enhance creative output.
• Collaborate with videographers and content creators to produce high-quality visual content.
• Ensure that video and multimedia assets align with the bank’s brand and communication strategy.

Production, Vendor Coordination and Project Tracking:

• Work with external vendors, printers, and production teams to ensure the highest quality output for printed materials and merchandise.
• Review proofs and provide necessary adjustments to maintain brand quality standards.
• Manage design projects from concept to final execution, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
• Utilize project tracking tools to document design progress, manage workflow, and ensure efficient project execution.
• Maintain a budget-conscious approach when working with vendors and sourcing materials.
• Coordinate design review meetings and timelines to ensure efficient workflow and project completion within deadlines.

Reporting and Project Management:

• Track and report on project progress, including timelines, resource allocation, and key deliverables.
• Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders regarding ongoing projects, creative output, and performance metrics.
• Maintain detailed documentation of design projects, including concept notes, revisions, and final outputs.
• Analyze project outcomes and incorporate feedback to improve future creative strategies.
• Work closely with the team to ensure project objectives are met within deadlines and budget constraints.

Knowledge & Skills 

Essential 

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
• Expertise in motion graphics, video editing, and social media content creation.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Experience with project tracking and workflow documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of printing processes and production management is an advantage.
• Experience in working with marketing research, marketing strategy, and developing and managing large-scale, multifaceted integrated marketing programs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and linking the various stakeholders for alignment of tasks timelines and deliverables.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative design work.

Desirable

Experience in AI-powered design tools such as gemini, higgsfield, midjourney, Runway ML, or similar.

Education & Special Training   

Essential 

• A bachelor’s degree
• A recognized Diploma or professional certification in Graphic Design or related creative fields Experience

Essential  

• A minimum of 3 ~ 5 years’ experience in Graphic Design, Branding and other relative creative fields

Languages 

Essential  

• Working proficiency in Myanmar and English.
