We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Analyst to support our cybersecurity team in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge in IT or cybersecurity who are eager to learn and grow in the field of information security.

Key Responsibilites

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
• Assist in the investigation of security incidents and help document findings.
• Conduct initial triage and escalate alerts to senior analysts when necessary.
• Support vulnerability assessments and help track remediation efforts.
• Assist with phishing simulations, awareness training, and reporting.
• Maintain security documentation, logs, and compliance records.
• Help enforce and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with security tools such as antivirus software, firewalls, and SIEM platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP) are a plus.
• Hands-on experience through labs, internships, or coursework in security.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is advantageous.
• Understanding of common security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001,MITRE ATT&CK ) is a plus.
