Assist in designing and maintaining security architecture across cloud environments, including access controls, encryption, security configurations, and threat detection capabilities.
Monitor daily security operations and cloud environments to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and protected against emerging threats.
Support cybersecurity projects, including the implementation and improvement of cloud security controls and capabilities.
Assist in cloud security incident response activities, including detection, investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
Track and report security events, risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents to support continuous improvement of security operations.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to integrate security best practices and align security controls with business objectives.
Assist in evaluating, implementing, and maintaining security technologies and supporting security vendor management activities.
Perform cloud security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis, providing remediation recommendations in collaboration with the Cybersecurity Manager.
Stay updated on cloud security trends, emerging threats, and industry best practices to recommend improvements that enhance the organization’s security posture.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, IT, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar certifications are desirable.
1-2 years of experience in Cybersecurity or IT Security roles.
Some hands-on experience with security monitoring, incident response, or vulnerability management.
Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
Familiar with SIEM tools, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Identity & Access Management.
Ability to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.
