Support enabling managers, stakeholders, and other executives in the business to make more informed decisions
Training end users on new reports and dashboards
Contribute in design and conduct surveys
Acquire data from various sources, then reorganize, filter and "clean" data in a format that can be human or system readable
Participate interpret complex data sets as trends and patterns for different analytics such as descriptive and so on
Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
Assist in design and maintain data systems and databases including data-related problems fixing
Recommend certain data sets, if required
Maintain good knowledge of data storage and database management best practices
Define opportunities for process improvements, recommend efficent data system and develop data governance policies
Make proper documentation and secure keeping
Process confidential data and information according to guidelines
Duplicate or replicate the analysis, if necessary
Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in economics, information management, statistics, mathematics, accounting, or computer science
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst or in a related field
At least three years in Data Processing/analyst/programmer with at least two years of experience with database management system
Good in programming languages - XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks
Familiarity with database languages - SQL, R, or Pythong
Competent in the use of spreadsheet tools - advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Excellent knowledge of popular data visualization software - Tableau or MS Power BI
Deep understanding of at least one relational database (e.g. MS Access)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Having experience in Audit industry or Financial sector will be an added advantage
Strong data analytics and governance skills
Ability to analyse, model and interpret large dataset with attention to detail and accuracy
Rapid acquire the business knowledge
Strong communication, and presentation skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills
Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability skills
