Duties and Responsibilities of Deputy Head Department of IT
➢ Provide leadership in technology portfolio for enablement, innovation and the management of all IT infrastructure assets through their life cycle.
➢ Manage a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and schedule constraints
➢ Provides consulting/training/education services such as Document management and
staff training/orientation for standard systems, IT Policies, procedure, Guideline etc.
➢ Enable the process of IT infrastructure and ensure optimum performance of systems and network and the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, computers, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals.
➢ Enforce good internal control practices, programs and initiatives to ensure a safe and secure ICT environment
➢ Track project deliverables and provide progress reports; highlight priorities, risks and mitigating actions to management.
➢ Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and identify appropriate actions to solve problems and enhance delivery related Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Exercises to support the delivery of resilient IT services.

➢ Work with the management and faculty heads/ managers to facilitate the continuous learning of staff in the use of ICT through identifying development needs, planning professional development programmers, organizing and conducting training, and ensuring ongoing improvements to the systems and network and determine risk and define risk mitigation strategies.
➢ Being responsible for planning, implementation, and programming of application systems, including overall design, development, integration and maintenance
➢ Providing technical supports to the day-to-day business operations of the microfinance.

Qualifications:
➢ Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
➢ 5+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
➢ Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
➢ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization and decision-making skills
➢ Strong knowledge of project management principles and manage staff functions & evaluation to reach main business goal & objective
➢ Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet the business & organization needs and requirements.
➢ Good in English and Myanmar Language Skills (reading, writing, understanding)
