- To define key potential customers; and promote/sell company’s product portfolio for up to all Industry Clusters to current and new customers so as to achieve sales target as set by superior.
- FBI - Beverage & Dairy, Processes Food, Functional Ingredients, Confectionary & Bakery, Nutrition & Supplement.
- To take care of selling products and solutions, participate in sales and marketing strategies development, key account management and project management, communicating with involved parties – supporting functions, customers, clients.
- To closely communicate with suppliers; set/implement strategies in promoting suppliers’ products into the market; and provide regular update/reports.
Strategy and plan
• Continuously identify, develop and explore new business opportunities with all customers to achieve the sales target.
• Execute the company sales & marketing strategy.
• Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
• Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
Customer & project management
• Arrange meetings with customers to identify opportunities, introduce our portfolio and initiate/follow up/close-win projects
• Listen to customer requirements and present appropriate products and solutions
• Capture key details of customer visits and projects in DKSH’s state of the art Customer relationship management (CRM) – tool “Salesforce.com”, immediately after each visit
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
• Service existing customers and always identify new opportunities
Offer & Sell
• Make accurate quotations to customers considering all commercial aspects (incoterms, payment term, margin…)
• Negotiate prices with customers & suppliers to optimize our margin sell
Product management
• Record sales and order information and brief customer service officer.
• Forecast demand from customers to order from suppliers
• Follow up the shipment status.
• Manage stock at point of sales to ensure product availability Supplier Management
• Act as a contact between a company and suppliers.
• Negotiate on price and costs, delivery and specifications with suppliers.
• Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders and new orders.
