Job Description

Overall responsibility (Job summary):

  1. Review monthly reports of full set of financial statements for all business units of the entity,
  2. Take charge in analytical procedures and financial analytics of P&L, Balance Sheets, non-financial information of Yoma Land.
  3. Support in setting up of Budgetary Framework, annual budget, quarterly and monthly forecast,
  4. Lead in process of finance transformation at the Company,
  5. Assist and prepare Policies, Procedures, Guidelines/ Standard Operation Procedures required for Finance of the entity,
  6. Work closely with Finance Manager, Finance Operations team, Head Office,
  7. Support Finance Managers and Finance Operations team in dealing with external auditors, IRD, and etc. for statutory compliance requirements,
  8. Train and manage the Finance team, build rapport and team spirit,
  9. Raise the quality of current work together with team,
  10. Consider and advise any opportunity and possibility to go digitalization,
  11. Support Finance Director and Head of Yoma Land’s initiatives, and
  12. Any other ad-hoc matters.

Key areas of responsibility (in conjunction with and direction from the project manager):

  1. Ensure financial analysis and commentary write-up on Month-end closing, reporting, consolidation, completed and reported on timely basis,
  2. Assist and prepare Policies, Procedures, Guidelines/ Standard Operation Procedures required for Finance of the entity,
  3. Support Finance Director in building of Budgetary Framework, Accounting Manual,
  4. Lead Finance Transformations of Finance for the entities, and
  5. Any other ad-hoc reporting.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, with minimum 3 years in managerial position,
  2. Bachelor’s degree or Professional qualification relating to Accounting, or Finance, or Commerce,
  3. Matured and independent and strategic thinking,
  4. Team-player,
  5. Willingness to learn new skills to the success of the job,
  6. Applied knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards,
  7. Analytical skills on financial numbers, financial modelling, sensitivity analysis building performed,
  8. Hands-on work experience with Microsoft Office (excel, word, power-point, teams).
