The Junior Marketing Business Partner plays a pivotal role in aligning marketing strategies with business objectives for the designated Business Unit. As the liaison between the shared service marketing function and the BU leadership, the Marketing BP is responsible for driving marketing excellence, fostering collaboration, and achieving growth targets.

  • Marketing Strategy

- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with BU leaders to understand their business goals, market dynamics, and customer needs. Translate these insights into actionable marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive 360 marketing plans tailored to the BU, encompassing digital marketing, traditional advertising, content creation, events, and other relevant channels. Ensure alignment with the overall group marketing strategy.

- Business Insights: Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior within the BU. Leverage these insights to identify opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments to enhance marketing effectiveness.

- Budget Assistance: Collaborate with BU leadership to support the development of marketing budgets that align with strategic objectives.

- Innovation and Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing. Introduce innovative ideas and strategies to enhance BU’s marketing efforts and maintain a competitive edge. Marketing Execution

Marketing Execution:

Act as the primary business owner for marketing execution within the BU, focusing on effective planning, execution and implementation of marketing campaigns, projects and initiatives aligned with BU-level strategies and objectives including design and content idea generation and creation.

- Campaign Performance Analysis: Collect and provide data driven insights necessary for management to analyze performance

- Quality Assurance and Brand Consistency: Ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing materials and assets that adhere to brand guidelines and resonate with BU's audience.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with BU leaders and various internal stakeholders to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.

Graphic Materials.

Support, either directly or in synergy with Marketing Dept, the operation with the needed graphic design, including but not limited to fliers for events, menu graphic updates, announcement graphic, and similar.

Social Media Management

- Manage SM profiles. Ensure Facebook and Instagram profiles for Bagan Pool and Mandalay hostels are regularly posting content, either original (hostel’s team) or resharing form web resources. Content should aim to engage, increase brand popularity and drive lead and reservations.

- Tik Tok Profile activation. Support in activate and render Tik Tok profile popular for Ostello Bello Myanmar.

- Monitor Private messaging. Messenger’s and Direct’s messages are managed and controlled by hostel’s staff, JMBP should work as an additional layer of control that this process happens timely and properly

Client Relationship Management

- Client Relationship Cultivation: Build and nurture strong working relationships with BU stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for all marketing-related inquiries, needs, and discussions.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with BU leaders and cross-functional teams, to align strategies and foster a cohesive approach.

- Client-Centric Approach: Champion the BU's marketing needs, effectively translating business priorities into actionable marketing plans while ensuring alignment with group-level strategies.

- Leadership and Influence: Act as a marketing advocate and leader within the BU, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. External Stakeholder Management - Build Connections: Establish and nurture positive relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers, and local businesses, fostering collaborative networks that enhance marketing and business endeavors.

- Proposal Evaluation: Methodically assess all proposed marketing activities and invitations, offering well-informed insights and feedback to the management of the BU and the Country Head of Marketing to shape effective and strategic marketing plans.
