Having operations in Singapore, Malaysia and China, Wong Fong Engineering Works (1988) Pte Ltd, one of the leading transport and lifting engineering solutions provider is looking for a qualified candidate to provide financial leadership in its new subsidiary in Myanmar.

The position would be based in Singapore with frequent travel to Myanmar expected in the initial 24 months. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager in Singapore, the incumbent will also actively support the Managing Director in carrying out Myanmar operations including human resource management and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the full set of accounts and the implementation of internal financial controls and cash management.
• Responsible for completing monthly financial statements, forecasting & financial analysis on a timely basis.
• Ensure compliance to Myanmar accounting, tax and labour regulations.
• Liaise with local auditors, consultants and government authorities.
• Manage local finance and administration team to fully support the local operations.

Job Requirements

• Recognised accounting qualification with at least 5 years working experience.
• Candidates familiar with International Accounting Standards and previous experience in similar capacity would have an added advantage.
• Bilingual in English and Burmese would be a definite.
• Meticulous and responsible team player with excellent organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
