Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute robust financial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Provide high-level strategic guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and business expansion plans.
• Inspire, lead, and mentor the Finance & Accounting department.

2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying key risks and opportunities.
• Implement effective cost-control measures and optimize expense management.

3. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee all core accounting operations: General Ledger, AP/AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Inventory.
• Ensure timely and flawless delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Present actionable financial insights and management reports to drive decision-making.
• Maintain strict compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/MFRS) and internal policies.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Optimize cash flow, working capital, and overall corporate liquidity.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Manage corporate financing, loans, and investment portfolios.

5. Taxation, Compliance & Risk Management

• Formulate and implement strong internal control systems and financial governance.
• Ensure 100% compliance with local tax regulations (Corporate Tax, Commercial Tax, WHT, etc.).
• Mitigate financial risks, prevent fraud, and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and ERP/accounting systems.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional Qualifications: CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA is highly preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 8–15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • At least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role (e.g., Finance Director, Head of Finance).
• Industry Background: Experience in Manufacturing, Trading, Distribution, Construction, or Energy sectors will be a distinct advantage.
• Core Skills: Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, exceptional leadership, and advanced knowledge of ERP systems.
