Job Function:   

This position is primarily responsible for  supporting   Head of Finance _ Portfolio in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and analysis across all entities. The role coordinates with the Portfolio Finance Team to ensure reports are prepared according to group standards, assists in performance review and consolidation, and maintains proper accounting controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness.

• Oversee the financial reporting process across all Myanmar portfolio entities and ensure submissions are accurate, timely, and aligned with group standards.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports prepared by entity finance teams and provide analytical feedback where required
• Analyze financial results, key variances, margins, trends, and business performance across the Myanmar portfolio.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses .
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory filings, and internal policies across all entities.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and funding requirements across entities.
• Review inventory controls, stock reconciliations, costing reports, and operational finance data where relevant.
• For start-up or newly established portfolir prepare or draft financial statements, reports, and finance processes until dedicated accounting teams become independent.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring all entities are prepared with proper schedules, supporting documents, and timely responses to auditors
• Support budgets, forecasts, and consolidated reporting requirements for the Myanmar portfolio.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance – Portfolio to support consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and group reporting needs.

Experience: 

• Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-5 years of experience in an industrial business.
• Relevant Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA) will be preferred
• Extensive knowledge about Accounting, Accounts Payable procedures, IFRS and MIFRS
