Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

Oversee end-to-end financial management for the refinery start-up project, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls tailored to the project and local regulatory requirements in Myanmar.
Establish, lead, and develop the finance team for the energy cluster, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Coordinate with project managers, external consultants, auditors, and government authorities to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations.
Monitor project costs, expenditures, cash flow, and funding to meet financial targets and project timelines.
Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding and financial services.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory filings, and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
Support risk management initiatives and internal audit processes.
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting tools, and processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CFA, or ACCA preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 5 years in the large-scale energy business as FC.
Proven experience in establishing and leading finance teams within the energy or oil & gas sectors, preferably in Myanmar or comparable markets.
Strong knowledge of Myanmar’s financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in IFRS, local accounting standards, and financial reporting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
