We are currently looking for R&D Food Technologist Positions with one of the leading Food Manufacturing companies.

The position is to be based in Sanchaung, Yangon, Myanmar, and report to Director.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Formulate new recipes and optimize existing food products.
• Scale benchtop experiments to full commercial production.
• Conduct ingredient functionality research and analyze food chemistry variations.
• Perform sensory testing, evaluation, and data analysis for new formulations.
• Ensure all products and processes adhere to the highest quality and food safety standards.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of recipes, testing results, and compliance records.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, and other departments.
• Report directly to the Company Directors and perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in food research, product development, or a commercial manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of ingredient functionality, food chemistry, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent palate for sensory testing and robust data analysis capabilities.
• Meticulous documentation skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work regular office hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm).
