Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Assist in developing new bakery products, including bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and frozen bakery items,etc.
  • Improve existing products by enhancing taste, texture, appearance, shelf life, and production efficiency.
  • Conduct recipe formulation, ingredient evaluation, and product trials.
  • Coordinate pilot-scale and factory-scale production trials.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams during product development.
  • Research new ingredients, food trends, processing technologies, and packaging innovations.
  • Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and company quality standards.
  • Prepare product specifications, formulations, SOPs, and production instructions.
  • Analyze product costs and recommend cost optimization without compromising quality.
  • Handle product stability testing and shelf-life evaluation.
  • Support customer complaint investigations related to product quality.
  • Maintain all R&D documentation and confidentiality of formulations.
  • Train production staff on new product manufacturing processes.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and innovation initiatives.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in B.Sc(IC) or Chemistry, or Bio Chemistry.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Bakery/Food Manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years in R&D, Product Development, or New Product Innovation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in commercial bakery production is preferred.
